JR is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients' supportive and dynamic team. The practice has recently undergone a refurbishment and extension, bringing modern facilities to support their commitment to providing excellent client care.
About Them:
You’ll be joining a dedicated team comprising 3 Vets, 2 Nurses, an SVN, a VCA, and 4 Receptionists. The practice is fully equipped to enable you to deliver high-quality care, with ample opportunity for growth and development. They actively support further qualifications, CPD, and training in areas of interest.
The current team has a range of expertise, including ultrasonography, cardiology, feline medicine, and internal medicine, providing a collaborative environment where you can develop your skills.
The Role:
- Part-time position working 30 hours per week across Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 9:00 am–12:00 pm.
- Occasional sole charge responsibility.
- No out-of-hours (OOH) duties.
We’re looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with strong routine surgical and medical skills. An interest in ophthalmology is desirable but not essential. You should be comfortable with a caseload that includes routine procedures as well as more complex cases, and you’ll have the opportunity to mentor and support junior Vets.
