We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the fantastic team at the practice in Ormskirk.
Hours:
This is a full-time permanent position with 1:4 weekends on rota however no OOH's.
Team:
The practice have a team of 3 experienced vets who have varied interests but all share a passion for general practice. The nursing team is the heart of our practice, some home grown and others joining us at various points in their nursing careers. They are made up of our Head Nurse, five RVNs, two Student Nurses and two Veterinary Care Assistants.
The Role:
You will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ideally with 2 years+ of experience and feel confident in the routine surgeries and consults.
Package:
Competitive salary up to £70,000 (DOE, FTE)
33 days holiday (plus your birthday off and paid if you are on the rota to work!)
£1600 CPD allowance (additional budget for certificate funding considered)
Overtime pay for time worked over contracted hours
All breaks within working day are paid
Income protection over 1 year service
RCVS/BVA/VDS all paid for as standard but happy to cover other memberships
