JR has an exciting opportunity for an Ophthalmologist to join our client’s certificate-led referral team at their 24/7 RCVS accredited Hospital. This clinic is located in the largest city in the East Midlands, boasts excellent travel links, good schools, and beautiful countryside. It's a modern city steeped in history with plenty of local activities whether you enjoy the outdoors or city life. Facilities include state-of-the-art equipment such as a CT machine, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, Phacoemulsification, and advanced ophthalmology tools, there are also 24-hour nursing and vet teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Work within the established ophthalmology team.
- Combining consulting and surgery duties.
- Perform a wide range of ophthalmology surgeries, including cataract surgery.
- Support the development and learning of colleagues in relation to ophthalmology.
- Maintain excellent client communication and support.
- Completed a certificate in ophthalmology.
- Advanced practitioner status preferred.
- Team-oriented with a passion for mentoring and development.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 38 hours a week over 4 or 5 days and 1:3 weekends on call. However, our client can be flexible and will consider Part-Time applications also, so please do let us know what suits you.
