Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to advance into a lead role, or already a Head Vet seeking a new challenge? This role offers a unique opportunity to step into leadership within a supportive, high-expertise environment. Our client’s Hinkley practice is seeking a Head Vet with strong experience in both routine small animal cases and exotic animals, as they handle a high exotics caseload and are the only local practice specialising in exotic pet care.
The clinic is a modern, spacious facility equipped with digital x-ray, an in-house lab, ultrasound, and multiparameter monitors to support advanced care. This is an excellent setting for a Head Vet interested in both leadership and clinical development.
In this role, you’ll manage a dedicated team of 5 vets, guiding them clinically while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice.
** Strong people management skills are essential, as is a commitment to building positive relationships with clients, patients, and team members.
** An interest in orthopaedics would be a plus but is not required.
** This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek on a shared rota basis, and there are no out-of-hours responsibilities.
