Our client is looking to recruit a Lead Vet Surgeon to join their team in Leicestershire.
The role is full time working 40 hours per week over 4 to 5 days. There is also a 1 in 4 Saturday rota (8.30am-2pm) and 1 in 15 Sunday rota (8am-7pm). They will consider part time applicants.
The role involves a predominantly clinical focus with operating and consulting. There is the potential for a Vet who particularly enjoys consulting to have a bias in this area.
There is a multi-vet team at the branch, and it is well-equipped for routine primary care procedures.
You will be working as part of a multi-site, primary care and mid-tier referral practice.
They have certificates holders in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery and emergency critical care.
Their branch sites are well equipped with digital x-ray, quality ultrasound, dental equipment & x-ray, in house labs, dedicated operating theatres, and carry out all standard primary care procedures daily. Their Tier 3 RCVS accredited Hospital has all this plus; CT machine, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, Phacoemulsification and advanced ophthalmology equipment, dedicated 24 hour nursing and vet teams, and much more.
As the Lead Vet you will be responsible for the line management of the vet team, coaching and mentoring, rota management and involved in business plans to further their success.
