Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Locum Veterinarian to join our team in Lincolnshire. This is an ongoing temporary position starting from the 19th of July. The successful candidate will work 5 days a week from 9 AM to 6 PM, with no out-of-hours or weekend duties. Accommodation can be provided for the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animals.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other conditions in pets.
- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed.
- Prescribe medication and advise pet owners on proper pet care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Collaborate with other veterinary staff to ensure the best possible care for animals.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing clear instructions and answering any questions they may have.
Qualifications
- Veterinary degree (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the UK.
- Proven experience as a veterinarian, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience in performing surgeries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
- Full-time temporary position with working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- No out-of-hours or weekend shifts required.
- Accommodation can be provided for the duration of the contract.
