Are you a dedicated, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Veterinary Surgeon looking for a leadership role? Our client is seeking a Clinical Director to join their team. This role involves a mix of clinical duties and mentorship, providing support to the vets and nurses from a clinical perspective. This is an accredited Small Animal Veterinary Hospital located in the beautiful university city of Lincoln. With excellent transport connections to London, vibrant nightlife, scenic outdoors, proximity to the coast, and excellent schools, Lincoln is an ideal location for offering a good work-life balance. Clinical Facilities include dedicated cat and dog wards, 2 theaters and an on-site laboratory, digital x-ray suite, dedicated dental theater and dental radiography, Mylab ultrasound with abdominal cardiac probes, laparoscopic equipment, endoscope and bronchoscope, orthopaedic kit, electrocautery and cryotherapy as well as air conditioning throughout.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Conduct consultations, operations, dentistry, and in-patient care.
- Support and mentor the team, upskilling vets and nurses.
- Focus on clinical excellence, with operational management.
- Explore clinical interests through continuous professional development.
- Have Good communication skills, positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to provide gold standard service.
- Be Reliable and collaborative.
- Have Significant clinical experience.
- Experience in leading a high-performing clinical team.
- Experience in conducting appraisals and one-to-ones.
This is a Permanent Full-Time role working 40 hours a week over 4 days and Saturday mornings are worked on a Rota basis. However, our client can be flexible and will consider Part-Time applications also, so please do let us know what suits your needs.
This role offers a salary up to £80,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
