The practice owner of our client is seeking an experienced and confident Lead Vet Surgeon to join the team in Ilford! This presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious veterinarian to become part of a purpose-built, brand-new, and growing practice. Handling a diverse range of small animal cases, the practice boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including ultrasound, digital X-ray, and a full in-house laboratory. The successful candidate will join an expanding and dynamic team comprising 4 vets, 1 RVN, 3 student veterinary nurses, 2 veterinary care assistants, and 1 receptionist.
This pivotal role demands strong medical and surgical skills, as well as the willingness and ability to mentor colleagues. The supportive practice owner has a keen interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine, particularly surgery, having recently completed a surgical certificate. With a generous CPD allowance and ample development opportunities, this practice is ideal for individuals with specific areas of interest. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week and 1 in 3 weekends, with a competitive salary starting at £85k plus (dependent on experience).
