Location: North & West London
A nationwide provider of export health certificates is recruiting an Official Veterinarian to cover North & West London. Comprehensive training and support are provided—no prior experience in this field is required.
Role Overview
- Conduct on-site ID checks of products for export.
- Review supporting documents to sign Export Health Certificates (EHCs).
- Refer to guidance notes and relevant legislation.
- Stamp and sign EHCs.
- Handle exporter queries and offer advice.
Combination of site visits (travel up to 1–1.5 hours) and home-based work.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am–6 pm (40 hours per week).
No evenings, weekends, nights, or abattoir work.
Occasional opportunities for travel to other UK locations.
Requirements
- Qualified veterinary surgeon (MRCVS).
- OCQ (ES, EX, PX) panels preferred (training provided if needed).
- Full driving licence and own car essential.
- Registered with RCVS
