Since opening in 2000, our client in Greater Manchester, a locally-owned surgery, has worked hard to provide the community with excellent care and service to a loyal client base. There is now an opportunity for a new Veterinary Surgeon to be a part of their established team.

The practice is independently run and supported by a fantastic team committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community. The surgery is ideally located just 7 miles from Manchester City Centre for cultural days out, and the Peak District is just a short drive away for country walks. It's perfect for commuters, with a tram stop just outside the practice, and Manchester Airport is also nearby for weekend adventures.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have good surgical and diagnostic skills and a desire to explore and complete full workups on cases to complement the current two full-time vet team. The practice has an amazing 6-strong nurse team that loves to be kept busy, as well as a friendly front-of-house team of 5 receptionists. They offer a full-time vacancy, 40 hours per week, with 1 in 3 weekends. There is no OOH requirement, and after working a weekend, you will have 3.5 days off – a very long weekend!
Understanding the importance of a good work-life balance, our client is open to negotiating part-time hours for the right candidate.
