JR is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide clinical leadership and guide a talented team in delivering the highest standards of veterinary care. This role allows you to work closely with an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, supporting the development and growth of the practice. Sole charge consulting will be required one day per week and the ideal candidate will be a skilled and enthusiastic team player with a passion for providing excellent care to patients and clients alike.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide high-quality care during consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures, ensuring patient wellbeing at every step.
- Deliver outstanding service by offering clear and compassionate updates on patient progress and medical plans.
- Prepare accurate client estimates, ensuring timely payments and minimising debt.
- Mentor and develop your team by encouraging growth and sharing clinical best practices.
- Engage and inspire colleagues to achieve clinical excellence.
- Ensure smooth clinical handover and manage the transfer of any patient requiring out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- A proven ability to work effectively within a team, using coaching and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 39 hours a week over 4 days, thus giving you a great work/life balance.
