Our client is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead/Vet to join their established and friendly team. They operate from a purpose-built practice, equipped with all necessary facilities, and offer support and development from their highly experienced regional team to guide candidates in their transition to leadership. Partnership prospects may become available for the right candidate in the future. Additionally, our client has ambitious expansion plans and is seeking someone to be part of this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Led the team to manage a varied caseload and demonstrate ownership of their actions
- Being responsible and accountable for the entire Veterinary team
- Delivering top-class clinical standards and client care
- Dealing confidently with the management of absence
- Covering gaps in the vet rota when another cover is not available
- Regularly assessing and auditing the Veterinary team and taking appropriate action immediately where necessary
- Ensuring all required Veterinary duties are completed each day
- Confidently administering high-level Veterinary care and monitoring the progress of animals
- Prioritizing first aid/emergency actions to stabilise and prevent animal discomfort
- Interacting effectively with the nursing team and understanding the importance of good nursing
- Being confident in all routine and non-routine consultations
- Performing all non-routine procedures within small animal practice confidently and effectively
