Our client, located in Middlesbrough, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and experienced team, offering an excellent opportunity for personal development as the practice grows.

With strong interests in exotics, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology, the team's busy and diverse caseload allows for continued specialisation or the pursuit of individual clinical preferences. A generous CPD allowance is provided to support professional development. Diary management ensures ample time for reporting, note-writing, and thorough case management. Regular team meetings and one-on-ones afford colleagues opportunities to contribute to practice protocols and personal progression.
Supported by an experienced nursing and non-clinical team, the successful candidate will work alongside 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, a Practice Manager, and a friendly reception team, all dedicated to maintaining an excellent standard of care and fostering a welcoming practice atmosphere.
This role is ideal for a veterinarian with several years of experience, comfortable with routine consultations and surgeries, aiming to advance a specific clinical interest (especially surgery) or transition into a more senior position as the team expands. Full-time availability is preferred, though part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Occasional sole charge and shared Saturday shifts are part of the role, with subsequent long weekends off and closure on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
