We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Corby, Northamptonshire. Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Working Hours: Ideally looking for full time hours, but happy to work with you to find a pattern that works for both of us. The weekends are on a 1 in 3 rota basis with limited cover to keep it fair for everyone.
Salary: £60000
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
