Looking to make their move into leadership? With a package up to £80K (DOE), the Clinical Director role in Nottingham might just be the next step!

At our client’s practice, an experienced vet is sought to progress into a leadership role and inspire the current team, while being instrumental in the direction the practice takes. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to experience running a practice as if it were their own, with support from established practice colleagues and our highly experienced regional team. Partnership opportunities may also be explored for interested candidates.

About the Practice:

Our client's 2 practice owners have been partners for 17 years, leading a supportive and close-knit team comprising 3.5 Vets, 3 Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 4 Receptionists. The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose-built to industry-leading standards, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including Digital x-ray, ultrasound, EGC, ultrasonic dental, biochem, microscope, and full surgical facilities. Situated in the heart of the community next to the canal and local shops, the practice offers convenient access to major roads and is just minutes away from Nottingham city centre.

About the Role:

The role isn’t simply about 'directing' the team; the selected candidate will be leading with sleeves rolled up, operating as Lead Vet. Strong leadership and team development skills are essential, along with good organizational skills, high motivation, and a commitment to encouraging and ensuring the best clinical practice. The ideal candidate will possess sound surgical and consultation skills, with comfort in handling some sole charge on Saturday mornings only. An approachable and consultative style is crucial as the team takes pride in the relationships built with patients, clients, and the local community. Support is available for those interested in studying towards a certificate, and there could be opportunities for future partnerships for the right candidate.

Benefits:

Our client offers excellent career opportunities and development due to a varied caseload, along with a competitive salary (£70,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience), pension scheme, generous CPD, funding of certificates for suitable candidates, and paid memberships (RCVS, VDS).

If you share a passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service and would like to join this dynamic team, they would love to hear from you.
