Location: Various – Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford, and Wantage, Oxfordshire

Hours: Full-time (4 days per week, equating to 36.5 hours) with rotational weekend shifts every 7 weeks, leading to an average of 40 hours per week; No out-of-hours work. Part-time and flexible hours will also be considered.

Our client is a prestigious practice located in the scenic South Oxfordshire region, encompassing four state-of-the-art surgeries. Committed to providing exceptional veterinary care, they boast a harmonious team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Nurses, Animal Nursing Assistants, Receptionists, and Support Staff, whilst priding themselves on investing in both their people and facilities, fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a diverse range of small animal clients. This role requires a compassionate approach to both patients and their owners, ensuring the best possible outcomes and upholding the reputation of the practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of small animal cases. (minimum 15 minute consults)
- Perform routine surgeries
- Provide preventative care and health checks.
- Offer compassionate guidance and support to pet owners.
- Maintain accurate records and case management using our practice management system.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.
- Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to providing high standards of veterinary care.
