JR is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients friendly and dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding clinic. This role allows you to deliver comprehensive veterinary care, from consultations to surgical procedures, while collaborating closely with an experienced team of three RVNs and a receptionist. Supported by a sister clinic and a hospital offering advanced care options, you will have access to specialized resources, including orthopaedics, CT, hydrotherapy, K-laser, and endoscopy services.
The clinic’s recent refurbishment, combined with 15-minute consults and protected lunch/admin breaks, provides a supportive, modern, and efficient environment. The hospital is on hand for out-of-hours cases, acting as an extension of the clinic with access to advanced diagnostics and treatment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Conduct 15-minute consultations, perform surgical procedures, and manage patient treatment with accuracy and professionalism.
- Provide clear, compassionate communication and personalized treatment plans, with transparency around costs.
- Guide and develop the clinic’s team, including nurse-led consults and Schedule 3 procedures, to enhance clinic efficiency and team skills.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week with 1:6 weekends. However, our client will consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £65,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
