JR is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated ECC Night Vet to join our client’s Out-of-Hours team at their RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital in Somerset. This role is perfect for weekend and holiday cover, with flexible options available.
Situated in a historic market town, this hospital offers the perfect balance of professional challenge and lifestyle perks including easy access to the stunning Somerset coast and just an hour’s drive from the vibrant Bristol city centre and close to iconic Glastonbury and the scenic Quantock Hills.
As an ECC Night Vet, you will be working alongside a skilled and compassionate Night Nurse, Twilight Phone Triage Nurse, and Twilight ACA, with support from an occasional Twilight Vet, ensuring you are never alone during those critical night hours.
This is a permanent, part-time role working Friday and Saturday nights 7pm – 8.30am, two weekends on and two weekends off with the option to pick up additional shifts for holiday cover. Our client is also open to flexible arrangements for the right candidate.
This role offers a salary up to £70,000 (pro rata) DOE and a range of benefits including
