Our client is a modern and well-equipped Small Animal GP RCVS-accredited practice, holding silver awards in both ISFM and RWAF. The practice, which opened in 2018, offers 16-40 hours per week over a flexible 7-day rota with weekends rotated among the veterinary team. Various shift patterns are supported, including compressed hours, late starts, and split shifts.
- Salary: £40,000-£60,000 DOE
- Hours: No OOHs or on-call.
- Team: 5 Vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 4 VCAs.
- Benefits: Excellent CPD allowance, funded certificates, and additional benefits.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years required.
About Us
Our client’s practice, founded in 2018, is led by Joint Venture Partners. The team includes vets with diverse skills and certificates in Medicine and exotics. The nursing staff includes experienced nurses and student nurses, with a dedicated team of VCAs providing excellent in-patient care.
The practice treats a variety of small animals and provides comprehensive care with in-house lab facilities, digital x-rays, dental x-rays, ultrasound, multiparameter monitors, and dedicated wards for different species. Ther practice is easily accessible from Glasgow and surrounding areas.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have strong general consulting, surgical, and medical skills, with some experience in emergency surgery. Confidence in working sole charge is necessary, as the role includes sole charge weekend shifts with support from the nursing and reception teams.
