A fantastic opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join my client’s team as clinical director.
This role combines clinical expertise with management responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality veterinary care.
The ideal candidate is always striving to enhance the overall quality of the practice and has effective communication and interpersonal skills. Previous leadership or management experience within a veterinary setting is a must. Vet surgeons with at least 5 years experience would be considered for this role.
It is a full-time position working 4 days a week. There is a shared Saturday morning rota and no OOHs.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising veterinarians, RVNs and support staff
- Ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards
- Leading and mentoring the team to enhance clinical skills and professional development
- Overseeing patient care and treatment plans, providing guidance on complex cases
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and the community
