PDSA Wolverhampton are looking to recruit a qualified Vet who enjoys a wide variety of cases and working in a fast paced environment.
Two positions are available, full time (37.5 hours) and part time (15 hours). There is a large team which means there is a flexible approach to weekend rotas and weekday times are shared on a rota basis. There is enhanced pay and stand down time in the week when a weekend is worked. There is no on-call and our OOH service is covered by an OOH provider from 7pm (6pm at weekends).
The hospital is modern and well-equipped and include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
The PDSA offer many fantastic benefits including but not limited to:
- Salary - £43,088 - £57,169 per annum (including allowances) pro rata for part-time hours
- CPD Allowance of one week and £1000 per year
- Full RCVS fees
- 25 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays) with the option to buy and sell up to 5 days per year
