Our client is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to lead their clinical team with the freedom to focus on clinical excellence and the potential for partnership in the future, while management duties are supported by experienced Practice Managers and Owners.
You will be joining a stable and experienced team, with some staff having been with the practice for over 20 years. This team currently comprises of 4 Vets, 6 Nurses, 3 Receptionists, and 2 Practice Managers, all of whom provide a supportive, innovative, and team-oriented environment with a strong focus on mentoring and collaborative growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and inspiring the clinical team, offering mentorship to junior vets, as well as managing complex surgical and medical cases and collaborating with the Practice Owners and Managers to implement ideas that enhance performance, patient care, and the overall growth of the practice.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 4 days a week, with 1:3 Saturdays.
