Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal team. This role offers flexible working arrangements in terms of days and hours per week, suitable for both full-time and part-time candidates. Typical shifts run from 08:30 to 18:30, with some early and late shifts between 8 am and 7 pm. Weekend work is required but varies based on the weekly hours worked. Full-time vets typically work 1 in 5 Saturdays from 8 am to 12:30 pm. No out-of-hours work is involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to small animals.
- Perform routine and advanced surgeries and diagnostic procedures.
- Offer consultations and preventive healthcare advice to pet owners.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
- Participate in the weekend rota, with frequency depending on hours worked.
