Our client presents an unmissable opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, longstanding team at their practice. This vacancy is within a practice that has been established for 11 years and prides itself not only on the care it provides but also on extending the welcoming atmosphere the North East is known for.
The practice is independently run and supported by a fantastic team, who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community. Through this, they have enabled a real "proud to be part of the team" work ethos.
This is a busy first opinion practice with a very loyal client base. The practice also has the potential to explore new specialisms such as exotics, making it the perfect role for those looking to follow their interests in a practice that can offer support and unlimited CPD funding for the right training.
The practice has a real family feel, and to reflect this, the role can be full or part-time to suit the candidate's needs. The hours will be over a 6-day week, Monday to Saturday (Monday to Friday 9 to 7, Saturday 9 to 6), with no Sunday work or OOH. Saturday work is based on a maximum of 1:3 Saturdays.

Along with unlimited CPD, flexible working, and joining a fantastic practice, candidates can also expect excellent nursing support, as the rota is 1.5 – 2 nurses per vet with a 20-minute appointment time, allowing them time to focus on their patients.
