The Role
An experienced Veterinary Surgeon is sought to join a dynamic and supportive team, working full-time (40 hours over 4 days) with the potential for part-time hours (2-3 days per week).
The team comprises two Veterinary Surgeons, one RVN Head Nurse, two full-time RVNs, one part-time RVN, one SVN, one VCA, two Receptionists, and a Practice Manager.
The role will involve sharing Saturday shifts on a rota basis (1:4 weekends), with hours of operation from 08:30 to 18:30, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00.
The practice is equipped with a range of modern facilities, including ultrasound, X-ray, a full Idexx in-house laboratory, nurse clinics, and separate cat and dog wards. Further advancements are planned for the future.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a busy small animal practice and independently at a branch surgery. Certificate holders are also encouraged to apply.
Currently, there are no out-of-hours (OOH) requirements, though this may change in the future.
