We’re working with a well-established, forward-thinking ambulatory farm animal practice that’s currently seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Farm Vet to join their supportive and experienced team. If you’re confident with out-of-hours work and enjoy obstetrical cases, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
🐄 About the Role
This is a permanent position offering variety and professional development in equal measure. You’ll handle a broad caseload including:
- Dairy, beef, sheep, and smallholder work (including camelids)
- Health planning, consultancy, fertility and herd work
- Medical and surgical cases, plus obstetrical and emergency care
Details:
- Full-time: 8am–5pm, 4.5 days per week (part-time considered)
- Out-of-hours rota: 1 in 4 for weeknights and weekends (time off in lieu for weekends)
- Flexible working considered
The team includes 4 farm vets, 2 ATT/Techs, and administrative support. CPD is actively encouraged across a wide range of learning opportunities — from conferences to further qualifications.

- Comfortable with sole-charge work for OOH
- Interested in a mix of consultancy and clinical care
- Passionate about client engagement and team collaboration
- Keen to develop within a supportive, inclusive work environment
