JR is seeking an Inpatient/Medical Veterinary Surgeon who is passionate about medicine and inpatient care, this role is particularly suited and a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a supportive and progressive Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital with a focus on examination, care planning, and continuity of care for hospitalised patients, as well as client communication and liaising with vets regarding imaging, investigative, or surgical needs whilst overseeing patient handovers to the dedicated ECC night team to ensure seamless care.
This role also offers the opportunity to see emergencies when required, making this position highly suitable for recent graduates with an interest in medicine whilst supported by experienced colleagues to foster professional growth.
This 24/7 Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital offers a full range of primary and referral services, including advanced diagnostics and treatment facilities, laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, CT, and visiting MRI, a dedicated rehabilitation centre with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy, as well as preventative healthcare, vaccinations, consultations, and dentistry along with middle-tier referrals in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, exotics, and dermatology.
You will be working alongside a large team of vets as well as experienced and dedicated nursing and front-of-house teams.
This is a permanent, part-time role working 3 days a week 7.45am – 8.15pm Monday – Wednesday with 1:4 weekends. However, our client is also happy to consider a full-time role should be this be preferred, therefore please do let us know your preferences.
