**Job Title: Part-Time Small Animal Veterinarian**

**Clinic Type: Busy 24hr Hospital with First Opinion Clinic**
Job Summary:
Our client is a bustling Small Animal Hospital situated in the vibrant city of Leeds, looking to expand their passionate team with the addition of two dedicated part-time veterinarians. Their first opinion clinic, nestled within the bustling facility, requires veterinary excellence for patients who deserve the best of care, with 20 - 30 minutes consults as standard. If you are seeking to complement your career with a consistent, yet flexible role, this practice would love you to join them on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care for small animals within a first opinion clinic.
- Work 1-2 days per week, with additional 1 in 4 weekend shifts to cover Emergency and Critical Care services.
- Engage in routine medical procedures, and consult with pet owners about preventive care and pet health concerns.
- Collaborate with an enthusiastic team of veterinary professionals.
- Participate in the growth and development of the clinic by potentially leading specialty clinics based on your areas of interest and expertise. Our client can create clinics to support anyone with a Certificate (or studying Certificate), for example experience/interests Ophthalmology, Neurology, Dermatology
- Consult Only Vet would also be considered
Candidate Profile:
- Holds a veterinary degree and is eligible to practice in the UK.
- Has a keen interest or is pursuing a Certificate in areas such as Ophthalmology, Neurology, Dermatology, or a related field (desired but not essential).
- Enjoys working as a part of a collaborative team, with no sole charge required.
- Is seeking a work-life balance that provides consistent hours without the demand of out-of-hours (OOH) services.
- Those with a special interest in consultancy-only roles are also encouraged to apply.
