centaur-logo.gifCentaur represents over 600 students of veterinary surgery and nursing at the University of Bristol.  As such, we are involved in the provision of a wide range of student facilities and the organisation of a number of events. We are continuously striving to maintain and improve student facilities.  Examples of this are projects to furnish a common room and on-call room for clinical students. We also host the following annual eagerly-awaited events:As university budgets are squeezed and as the financial pressures on students increase, we are increasingly reliant on the goodwill of local businesses and veterinary-related companies to assist us. To help finance these projects we would like to ask you to consider sponsoring any event or a facility improvement project. In return we would be very grateful for such assistance and be willing to promote your business to what is a large pool of prospective professionals. We are particularly keen to find a sponsor for the Annual Charity Ball. If you were to be the sole sponsor for the ball we would be delighted to name the ball after your company and provide promotion for your company in the form of banners, logos on place settings and decorations as you wish. Furthermore, we would offer you a slot in the pre-dinner speeches for someone from your company to make a short presentation. Naturally, we would reserve a table for you at the ball and organise overnight accommodation in a hotel close to the event. If you chose to sponsor us, we will also print your company logo on the hundreds of items of Centaur clothing sold each year and would clearly display your logo on our website (http://www.centaur.org.uk) Our students come from all over the UK and Ireland and your sponsorship of the Charity Ball will ensure the most valuable form of advertisement for your company, word of mouth. This will promote your company throughout the current veterinary professional world. If you feel you could be of any assistance, financially or otherwise, please do not hesitate to contact either of us.
