FREE Controlled Drug CPD For The Whole Vet Team From Training-Progress

Training-Progress, the team and quality management system, is delighted to offer an example of their training content for FREE to all veterinary practices at this difficult time. The series of 5 mini e-modules, created in conjunction with Pamela Mosedale BVetMed MRCVS, relates to the storage, recording, destruction and prescribing of controlled drugs. There is also a really useful section on creating a protocol in the event of a discrepancy in the register. Controlled drugs are often an area of concern for practices during their RCVS PSS inspection, so training which ensures a basic understanding for the whole practice team is a great advantage.
Laura Shaw, development with Training-Progress explains ‘Training-Progress is not a CPD provider. The system enables practices to create training programmes for their team members based on their own practice protocols. However, we do have a growing library of training content from subject specialists as part of our Diamond Start-Up package and it has been super to work with Pam Mosedale again on these modules.’
Training-Progress is offering these modules for free to colleagues in veterinary practices to help them keep up their CPD during these difficult times. They are a fantastic basis for practices to create their own controlled drug SOPs.
