Novartis Animal Health, manufacturer of Atopica®, is presenting a series of free evening CPD seminars on the practical management of canine atopic dermatitis.

The speakers for these interactive and practical sessions for vets are leading dermatologists Tim Nuttall, BSc, BVSc, PhD, CertVD, CBiol, MIBiol, MRCVS, senior lecturer in veterinary dermatology at Liverpool University and Rutland House Referrals’ Stephen Shaw, BVetMed, PhD, CertSAD, MRCVS.
Agnès Delauche, senior brand manager at Novartis, said: “Research carried out by Novartis has shown that 86 per cent of owners whose dogs were diagnosed with atopic dermatitis were frustrated with the condition. In addition, 44 per cent of owners left their original veterinary surgeon in search of a solution for their dog’s atopy. It can be a long and exasperating problem for both the dog and the owner, so it’s critical that a timely diagnosis and effective treatment regime are provided. We hope that the expertise and vast experience of our speakers will assist veterinary professionals in managing this condition.”
The evening sessions count for two hours of CPD and begin at 8pm, with a finger buffet available from 7.30pm.
