Petplan Announces Finalists For 2023 Veterinary Awards
Awards ceremony to be held on 23rd March in Manchester
The Petplan Veterinary Awards, now in its 24th year, is back again to celebrate outstanding vets, vet nurses, practices, practice managers and support staff.
This year, over 30,000 nominations have been received - submitted by both colleagues and clients in recognition of nominees’ commitment and dedication to going above and beyond when it comes to the health of the nation’s pets.
The 2023 awards will be held at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester, and will be hosted by actress and comedian, Sally Phillips. The special black-tie occasion will celebrate the achievements of the fantastic line-up of finalists, as well as announcing the winners.
The finalists this year include the following veterinary professionals:
Practice Support Staff of the Year
- Rhiannon Lewis, Streatham Hill Vets, Streatham
- Laura Cameron, Lomond Veterinary Clinic, Helensburgh
- Louise O’ Reilly, Vets4Pets, Llanrumney
Practice Manager of the Year
- Kristen Lorimer, Blue House Veterinary Centre, Stoke-on-Trent
- Louise Newman, Blue Cross Vets, Merton
- Nicki Ridgeway, Vets4Pets, Ridgeway
Practice of the Year
- Hollybank Veterinary Centre, Northwich
- Lanes Vets, Poulton
- Milfeddygon Williams Vets, Gwynedd
Vet Nurse of the Year
- Caroline Jones, Battle Flatts Veterinary Surgery, York
- Helen Rooney, Pet Blood Bank, Loughborough
- Lesley Ramsey, Debenham Veterinary Practice, Stowmarket
Vet of the Year
- Andrew Hayes, Towcester Equine Vets, Towcester
- Clare McCabe, Claymill Veterinary Clinic, Cookstown
- Laurence Behrens, Goddard Veterinary Group, Dagenham
