To mark the launch of their new retail website, www.petplanretail.co.uk which allows retailers to sign up to be part of the Petplan Retail Scheme, Petplan ran a competition giving retailers a chance to win a brand new laptop.
Southside Pets caters for the welfare and leisure of pets by providing a range of pet homes, accessories, bedding, specialist foods, training aids, as well as offering specialist advice to pet owners.
Joining the Petplan Retail Scheme last year, Southside Pets can now offer their customers 4 weeks free insurance for their cat, dog or rabbit, and the first month free for customers who take out a full Petplan Equine policy.
Jackie, Southside Pets owner, says she is over the moon to have won the laptop and really pleased that the pet store decided to sign up to the Petplan Retail Scheme.
“The scheme is great, as it has given us a little more credibility, and has created a chance for us to work with our local veterinary practice and to talk to new pet owners about responsible ownership. As a pet shop I think we should be a key feature in helping to provide advice to new pet owners on the importance of pet insurance.”
By promoting insurance to customers they can earn Petplan Retail Reward Credits, when customers take out full Petplan or Petplan Equine policies which can be exchanged for high street vouchers.
Petplan Partnerships Manager, Phil McKinnon says; “Since launching the website last year, we’ve seen a strong increase of retailers looking to add to their product offering to customers, as well as taking advantage of earning Retail Reward Credits.”
The Petplan Retail Scheme is administered online so retailers can register for free by visiting www.petplanretail.co.uk.4208 views
