As Brit's thoughts start to steer toward fast-approaching welcome breaks away in the summer sun, many pet owners will be considering how their smaller family members will be looked after in their absence - perhaps planning to leave them in the care of relatives, or in pet boarding. Caring for your pets should be a year-round concern however, a fact reinforced by the introduction of a series of insurance products from Pets At Home this month. The leading pet supply brand have launched insurance plans for dogs, cats and rabbits, which offer price concessions for buying online. You can choose from four different levels of cover depending on the type of animal you want to insure - tailoring your policy to suit the needs of your much-loved pooch, pussy or bunny, for more details of their rabbit insurance in particular, see: http://www.petsathome.com/petinsurance/rabbitinsurance. Unlike cover offered by some other pet insurance providers, there is no maximum age limit on vet fee cover taken out with these policies. Access to a legal helpline and vet finding service is also included as part of the insurance. In addition to offering a five per cent discount to pet owners who buy their policy online, Pets At Home are also offering a five per cent price reduction on policies for microchipped pets and a ten per cent discount to pet owners who insure more than one animal. Finally, as with many insurance providers, Pets At Home are currently offering a small reward to pet owners who take out insurance with them, in the form of in-store vouchers to the value of between £10 and £20. They are also currently donating one pound to the charity Support Adoption for every policy taken out.
