Welcome to our Abdominal Ultrasound Course for Veterinary New Graduates! This comprehensive program has been thoughtfully designed to equip recent veterinary graduates with the essential skills and knowledge needed to perform a full abdominal ultrasound. As a new veterinarian, mastering abdominal ultrasound is a critical skill, as it plays a pivotal role in the diagnosis and management of various medical conditions in small animals. This course aims at giving new graduates more confidence when diagnosing conditions such as gastrointestinal disorders, hepatic disease, urogenital abnormalities, and more, enabling you to make informed decisions and provide the best possible care to your patients.

Throughout this course, you will learn more about the fundamentals of ultrasound technology, understanding how it works and how to operate the equipment effectively, as well as the main anatomical landmarks and common physiological and pathological variations of the main abdominal organs. On the practical day, we will emphasize a hands-on approach, providing you with ample opportunities to practice your scanning skills under the supervision of an experienced Board-certified radiologist.

Join us on this educational journey, where you will not only acquire proficiency in abdominal ultrasound but also build a strong foundation for your veterinary career. By the end of this course, you will be well-prepared to integrate ultrasound into your practice, enhancing your diagnostic capabilities and ensuring better outcomes for the animals entrusted to your care.
