Derby Hospital Hosts Full Day Anaesthesia CPD For Nurses
Pride Veterinary Referrals has announced a comprehensive CPD day focusing on anaesthesia specifically for nurses and nursing students. Taking place on Saturday 26 April at the Derby hospital, the full day session is designed to enhance nursing skills in critical patient care and will see several of the Pride team members sharing their skills and knowledge on the topic.
With sessions on capnography for assessing respiratory function, blood pressure management and ECG interpretations, attendees will gain practical knowledge and a deeper understanding of how anaesthesia can be used effectively in practice. They will also learn about pain management and post operative considerations for patients.
Tara Colella, hospital nursing manager at Pride, said:
“Anaesthesia is an important service within a referral hospital and we’re lucky to have several members of the Pride team who are sharing their own knowledge and experience as part of this CPD event. This is a great opportunity for nurses and students to deepen their understanding of this area and we look forward to welcoming our colleagues from across the profession to the hospital.”
Tickets for the CPD day cost £45, including lunch. To register and find out more, visit https://eu.eventscloud.com/200285972.
