Virbac Supports Young Dairy Vets With The Young Dairy Vet Of The Year Award
Virbac is delighted to announce their sponsorship of the Cream Awards' Young Dairy Vet of the Year 2023.
For young vets who have started their career in the farm veterinary sector, developing vital skills in disease management and mitigation is now seen as an integral part of the farm vet role, with a focus on herd health planning to maximise health and wellbeing.
The Young Dairy Vet of the Year Award is designed to recognise those farm vets that have between three and five years’ experience of working within the dairy industry, who offer practical advice to farmers, transferring their valuable knowledge and expertise to help them meet production targets as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
‘Virbac has been supporting dairy vets with products and services for over 50 years and recognise the commitment of young dairy vets to the profession’, said Sabrina Jordan, Product Manager - Farm & Equine, Virbac UK. ‘We are pleased to offer additional support through the Young Dairy Vet of the Year Award and hope that this will help to raise the profile of young diary vets and encourage students to choose farm vet careers.’
The Cream Awards are recognised as one of the most prestigious awards within the industry. The glittering 2023 Cream Awards presentation evening will take place at the Grosvenor Hotel London on 7th September 2023.
